Six-Sided Precision. The ADM 612-MST: Built for Production.
The ADM 612-MST combines six-sided drilling, routing and automated panel positioning for cabinet and furniture production. Dual top drilling heads, a bottom drilling head and a 7+1 automatic tool magazine support flexible machining, while Syntec CNC control and an air flotation worktable simplify job loading and panel handling.
Key features:
Six-Sided Drilling: Two top drilling heads each provide 12 vertical and 8 horizontal spindles in the standard configuration. A nine-spindle vertical bottom drilling head completes the six-sided machining arrangement.
Routing and Automatic Tool Changes: A 3.5kW routing spindle runs at up to 18,000rpm. The integrated 7+1 automatic tool magazine supports a range of routing operations and automatic changes between tools.
Syntec CNC Control: The 21-inch Syntec CNC control supports QR code job loading and MPR, DXF, BPP, XML, CIX and CID file formats for integration with CAD/CAM workflows.
Controlled Panel Handling: Dual C-frame servo clamps position the workpiece, and automatic panel measurement verifies its dimensions. An automatic side aligner references the panel, while the air flotation worktable reduces friction and helps protect finished surfaces.
Precision Motion: Syntec servo drives provide positioning speeds of up to 135m/min on the X and U axes. Precision ball screws, guide rails and a rack-and-pinion drive support axis movement, while Dynamic Arc Motion Technology optimises travel between machining operations.
Configuration Options: Left-hand and right-hand feed configurations are available. An automated parts return and a 16-vertical drilling head configuration are optional; the standard top drilling heads have 12 vertical spindles each.
