The AFS 243 is a compact automatic edgebander for cabinet makers who need consistent edge quality, flexible glue options and straightforward operation. A full PC touchscreen, diamond pre-milling and a complete finishing sequence bring professional edging capability to a smaller workshop footprint.
Key features:
Widescreen PC Touchscreen: The same widescreen PC interface used on the AFS 568 Pro provides clear machine control, quick setup changes and integrated operating instructions.
Prepared Edges. Strong Bonds.: Diamond pre-milling prepares a clean, square panel edge. The quick-melt glue system supports EVA and PUR adhesives, followed by four pressure rollers for consistent bonding.
Complete Finishing Sequence: End trimming, fine radius trimming, single-motor corner rounding, radius scraping, floating flat scraping and buffing produce a clean finished edge.
Fast Thickness Changeovers: Two-position adjustment supports 1mm and 2mm edging through the trimming, corner-rounding and radius-scraping units.
Stable Panel Handling: A roller-type pressure beam and independent height adjustment keep panels controlled throughout the machine. The enclosed cabinet, lifting front door and interlocked safety system provide access and protection.
