Narrow Panel Precision. The AFS 559-40 Edgebander.
The AFS 559-40 is an automatic edgebander built for cabinet manufacturers processing narrow components alongside everyday panel work. With capability down to 40mm wide, a quick-melt PUR glue system and pneumatic two-position finishing, it combines flexible production with consistent edge quality.
Key features:
40mm Narrow Panel Capability: Process narrow components from 40mm wide and 120mm long, with panel thicknesses from 10mm to 60mm.
Productive Feeding: Select 15, 18 or 20m/min feed speeds. A 4kW conveyor motor and four-wheel pressure system support stable panel movement and bonding.
Pre-Milling & PUR Processing: The 3.7kW diamond pre-milling unit prepares the edge before the quick-melt glue system applies adhesive. The system supports both EVA and PUR.
Pneumatic Two-Position Finishing: Fine trimming, two-motor corner rounding and radius scraping adjust between edging thicknesses for faster setup. Floating flat scrapers and twin buffing wheels complete the finish.
Clear Control. Practical Maintenance.: PC touchscreen control, automatic lubrication, front and rear cleaning sprays, tracing bearings for notch and hinge-hole work, and dual-channel interlocked safety support daily production.
